Why give through VRL?

Trusting God with your personal finances is another step in your growth as a disciple of Jesus. One measure of spiritual maturity is how we manage the resources God has given us including time, talents, and financial resources (Matthew 25:14-30).

Your tithes and gifts expand the Kingdom of God and are part of being a committed member of VRL. When you tithe and give through VRL, your generosity supports what God is doing in the Spokane area and around the world.

Ways to give through VRL

Online

Give for the first time or setup a recurring gift without leaving our site. This is the easiest and most cost-effective way to contribute to VRL.

We accept payments through your checking account, a debit or credit card.

In Person or Mail

You can use one of the black drop boxes in the lobby of either of our campuses to drop off a cash or check gift.

You can also send your gift by mail using your bank's bill pay service. Make the check payable to Valley Real Life and mail to:

Valley Real Life
Attn: Finance
PO Box 397
Spokane Valley, WA 99016

Text Message

You can give by text message (sms) any time and anywhere. All you need to do is text the dollar amount you want to give to: 509-309-0071.

The first time you give via text you'll receive a prompt to confirm your contact information, after that, it's all automatic.

*Your carrier's SMS rates may apply

Stock and Non-Cash Donations

Some gifts can't be mailed and we want to partner with you to make your generosity possible.

If you'd like to donate assets such as stocks or other non-cash assets, reach out to our finance team to learn how to make it happen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Choosing to give to the mission of the Church is an important step of discipleship. We're here to support you and answer any questions you might have. Here's answers to some of the most common questions to help you on your journey. Don't hesitate to ask us if you have a different question.

Valley Real Life is a 501c3 nonprofit organization as determined by the IRS. With that, you may be able to deduct gifts given to VRL depending on your financial situation. We definitely recommend consulting with your tax and financial professionals to be sure that you're on track with how you handle your finances.

It seems like every month we hear about a new security vulnerability or data breach. While no system is perfect, we take your data and security very seriously.

Valley Real Life does not store your payment information in any of our systems. Instead, we've selected trustworthy partners who know the ins and outs of merchant processing and the best practices for securing your information safely.

If you'd like to learn more about how we handle data, we'd love to hear from you.

We do track giving for specific campuses, but your tithes and offerings generally speaking go into the Valley Real Life general fund. If you'd like to learn how you can contribute to more specific parts of Valley Real Life, send us a message. We'd love to hear your heart for reaching the world for Jesus one person at a time.

You can absolutely give as a guest without creating an account. We recommend creating an account so your preferences are saved which will make giving even easier the next time. Once you create your account you'll also be able to view your giving history for any end of year statements that you might need.

We'll send an email to everyone at the end of the year just to say thanks for giving through Valley Real Life. That being said, you can download previous year statements or see your year to date history anytime at https://www.vrl.church/MyAccount/GivingHistory.

Once in a while something goes wrong, we completely  understand. In the case of an extraneous transaction, an inaccurate statement, or something else let us know by emailing finance@vrl.church or by calling the church at 509-232-0840.

Absolutely! We regularly host Financial Peace University created by Dave Ramsey. In this class you'll learn biblical principals for godly stewardship, how budget, and save money for the future.

Ask us anything. Maybe you'd like to spend some time with one of our pastoral staff and discuss other biblical or practical things as it relates to us, God, and how we use the money he's entrusted us with.

Feel free to give us a call and schedule a time to meet with one of our staff.
