Starting back up Sept 23rd! Study on the Book of James. Imagine if you had grown up in the shadow of your perfect half brother Jesus. What would you have learned watching the God man experience life a few years ahead of you? James, the author of this book, as a young man, seems to have been a doubter (John 7:5). Yet the resurrected Christ appeared especially to this brother (I Cor 15:7) and James became a believer. James’s content is focused on the practical day to day living out the example of Jesus in word and deed. This book also contains powerful challenges to stand firm in difficulty and to cultivate a fervent life of prayer. Its instructions have everything to do with how true believers live as Christ followers in the real world.
