Wednesday Morning Women's Bible Study

The Bible speaks of angels often. They were present in the garden of Eden, and throughout the story of the Bible they appear to people with messages, encouragement, and tangible help. Angels ministered to Jesus after His temptation and before His crucifixion, and they shared the good news of His resurrection. Despite their frequent appearance in God’s Word, our impression of angels is more often shaped by the myths and misconceptions that have developed over the centuries.
In this 8-session Bible study, join Melissa Spoelstra as she traverses the terrain of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation to learn about angels—who they are, what they do, and what they have to do with you. There's no reason to fear or ignore what's happening in the supernatural, unseen realm—we can live with confidence that God is in control of it all. Angels is a call to put your hope in the God of angel armies who reigns over heaven and earth.
Bible study starts Sept. 23rd at 9:30 am in the main auditorium.

Join us on a 6 week journey as we explore the lives of Biblical women like Sarah, Hagar, Naomi, Ruth, Bathsheba, Mary the mother of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, Hannah and others. We’ll see our own stories reflected in theirs and tackle questions like, “Does God have more for me?” and “How can I join Him in the work He’s doing?” We’ll also consider questions like “How can I follow, trust, and prioritize God more in my life?” and “What does it mean to surrender, sacrifice, and fully commit to Him?” By looking at these Biblical women and examining our own hearts, we aim to become more like Jesus as we cooperate with Him in every way. This 6 week curriculum was written by Janice Logue and Jolene Fisher (Leaders at Valley Real Life). Live teaching will accompany the curriculum each week. Cost of the curriculum is $5 and will be handed out on the first day of study.
